Subshine

I met this girl once,
her name was Sunshine.

I promised not to break her heart,
but you know how life goes on. 

As time goes on,
many years passed by.

There she was again,
like sunshine in my dusk.

This time no promises were made, 
'cause you know what life is all about.

Maybe at the next life is what I thought,
as I watched her flow off my life.
